Gaige Herrera Reclaims NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle Lead with Dominant Win at St. Louis

It was a triumphant weekend for Vance & Hines Motorsports as Gaige Herrera roared back to the top of the NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle standings. After a brief stint in second, Gaige secured his eighth victory of the season at the NHRA Midwest Nationals in St. Louis, piloting his RevZilla/Motul/Vance & Hines Suzuki to a stunning 6.805-second pass at 198.12 mph.

Gaige’s victory, alongside his No. 1 qualifier spot and consistent eliminations performance, put him back in the lead of the Countdown to the Championship, with a 34-point cushion over former champ Matt Smith.

“This win means a lot,” Gaige said after the event. “Getting back on top of the standings at this point gives me and the team a huge boost going into Dallas and the rest of the season.”

On his way to victory, Gaige knocked out John Hall, Hector Arana Jr., and Trick Tools Suzuki’s Chase Van Sant in a thrilling final round to take home the win. His Suzuki Hayabusa delivered consistent, powerful performances in all four elimination runs.

With the momentum building as the championship races heat up, Gaige and the Vance & Hines Motorsports team are ready to finish strong as they head to Dallas and beyond.
